Cognitive validation and adaptation to the Colombian context of the “Questionnaire on intersectoral actions to influence the Social Determinants of Health”.

The interview is a fundamental interpersonal communication tool in the collection of qualitative data for the evaluation of social and health programs. The aim of this research was to validate and adapt to the Colombian context the "Questionnaire on intersectoral actions to influence the Social Determinants of Health" (original Mexican version) through a cognitive validation with 8 Colombian experts. The quantitative concepts had validity and concordance between good (CVC > 0,8) and excellent (CVC > 0,9). The qualitative evaluation allowed grammatical and semantic changes that contributed to a clearer second version of the questionnaire, with relevant questions and vocabulary adapted for Colombia. The validated and adapted questionnaire allows the study of intersectoral actions through structured interviews.
