The role of architecture in the problems of the quality of life of the victim population of the Colombian armed conflict

Se estudia el barrio Buena Vista II de Villa del Rosario- Norte de Santander, caracterizado por su población desplazada víctima del conflicto armado interno colombiano. Se desarrolla a partir de un enfoque documental que contextualiza las consecuencias del conflicto y define conceptualmente calidad de vida. Presenta una metodología mixta; cualitativa, que reconoce las dinámicas y condiciones de habitabilidad y; cuantitativa, que realiza una caracterización poblacional desde las dimensiones social, económica y ambiental que identifica las necesidades de calidad de vida de los habitantes. Esta investigación permite establecer la incidencia de la arquitectura en la calidad de vida de las poblaciones víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano, como elemento que condiciona procesos de reparación y rehabilitación en el contexto del posconflicto.
