As práticas de qualidade são um fator estratégico para a competitividade na gestão da cadeia de suprimentos. Por esse motivo, este artigo faz uma revisão exaustiva da literatura a fim de saber quais contribuições acadêmicas têm sido feitas para o estudo da inter-relação entre as práticas de qualidade e o desempenho sustentável das cadeias de suprimentos. Os resultados mostram um crescente interesse por pesquisas nos últimos seis anos, a necessidade de quantificar o impacto das práticas de qualidade no desempenho sustentável da cadeia de suprimentos por meio da utilização de ferramentas de qualidade adequadas.
