Diferenciales de productividad empresarial según su posición internacional. El caso del sector químico Español

En este trabajo se estudia la relación entre la productividad y la posición internacional que ocupan las empresas
españolas y portuguesas del sector químico en el año 2011, con el objetivo de contribuir a la literatura económica
al determinar si las empresas que se internacionalizan, ya sea mediante exportación o inversión, son más productivas que aquellas que no venden en el mercado mundial. En primer lugar se elabora una muestra de corte transversal para posteriormente realizar la estimación de la función de producción. Por último, se concluye que en la muestra utilizada la actividad exportadora es la que tiene un mayor peso en el crecimiento de la productividad.
