Internationalization in the mission and vision of the main Mexican companies

The main aim of this paper is to analyze the presence of the internationalization in the mission and vision of the main Mexican companies. To reach this aim was analyzed the mission and vision of the 500 biggest firms in Mexico, included in the ranking “Las 500 Mayores Empresas de México” of Expansion magazine. For this analysis was used a qualitative technique of content analysis. The main results indicate that in the case of the mission, the States with a main percentage of presence was Veracruz (100%) and Baja California Sur (50%), and in the case of the vision the States with major percentages of presences are Hidalgo (100%) and Baja California Sur (50%). Likewise, the States with a major number of firms are Mexico City (151) and Nuevo León (51). The firms of these States got percentages of presence of 20% and 22% respectively.
Resumo
El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar la presencia de la internacionalización en la misión y visión de las principales empresas mexicanas. Para poder alcanzar este objetivo se analizó la misión y visión de las 500 mayores empresas de México incluidas en el ranking las “500 Mayores Empresas de México” de la revista Expansión. Para este análisis se utilizó una técnica cualitativa de análisis de contenido. Los principales resultados indican que en el caso de la misión los estados con un mayor porcentaje de presencia de internacionalización es Veracruz con el 100% y Baja California Sur con 50%, y en el caso de la visión los Estados con mayores porcentajes de presencia son Hidalgo (100%) y Baja California Sur (50%). Asimismo, los Estados con un mayor número de empresas son Ciudad de México (151) y Nuevo León (51). Las empresas de estos Estados obtuvieron como porcentajes de presencia 20% y 22% respectivamente.
Resumen
O objetivo principal deste trabalho é analisar a presença de internacionalização na missão e visão das principais empresas mexicanas. Para atingir esse objetivo, foi analisada a missão e a visão das 500 maiores empresas do México incluídas no ranking das “500 Mayores Empresas de México” na revista Expansión. Para essa análise, utilizou-se uma técnica de análise de conteúdo qualitativo. Os principais resultados indicam que, no caso da missão, os estados com maior porcentagem de presença de internacionalização são Veracruz com 100% e Baja California Sur com 50% e, no caso da visão, os Estados com maiores porcentagens de presença são Hidalgo (100%) e Baja California Sur (50%). Da mesma forma, os Estados com maior número de empresas são a Cidade do México (151) e Nuevo León (51). As empresas desses Estados obtiveram porcentagens de presença 20% e 22%, respectivamente.
