Abstract

This project tries to help with the loss of cultural identity in children from the town of Caracolí, Atlántico. The reason is that they do not know much about their history and traditions. That is why the main question is: How can we show the history and culture of the town to help children learn and care about their heritage? The project used both qualitative and quantitative methods. It included deep research, collecting stories and memories from the first people who lived there, and surveys with children to see how much they know about their roots and the history of the place. The main result was an illustrated interactive booklet. It helps children learn by themselves about the local history, making them feel proud of their town and protecting their cultural legacy. In short, creating fun learning tools helps young people value their cultural heritage in Caracolí.
