The first part of this document addresses the context in which engineering pedagogy or instructional engineering is developed. Subsequently, this work addresses the theoretical conceptualization of how engineering has been used in educational processes and the different ways of applying it in the context of education. The paper concludes with an overview of different experiences in the application of engineering pedagogy and instructional engineering.
