Aplicación del Método Search para el Diseño de Escenarios Futuros en el Consultorio Empresarial de la Universidad de Cartagena (2012 – 2022)

La gran variedad de herramientas que pueden ser utilizadas dentro de la planeación estratégica, la planeación por escenarios se ha convertido hoy en día en una aproximación metodológica para predecir y/o construir un futuro. Mediante la identificación de tendencias clave, se podrá construir escenarios con el propósito de mejorar el proceso de toma de decisiones y reducir el riego en las organizaciones. Este artículo propone el desarrollo de un caso aplicado al Consultorio Empresarial de la Universidad de Cartagena, logrando el diseño de 4 escenarios (probables). Con la asesoría de un panel de expertos se valoraron diferentes futuros alternativos concluyendo los posibles campos de desarrollo (para los próximos 10 años) en las áreas relacionadas con: estudios prospectivos, desarrollo empresarial, capacitación en nuevas tecnologías de la información, gestión de alianzas con el SENA, desarrollo empresarial, estrategias de marketing y servicio al cliente.
