Desarrollo sostenible: desafíos medioambientales frente a los retos de la cuarta revolución industrial

Sustainable development is the starting point in the discussion on development policies and plans in the academic, political, and economic fields today. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify the importance of this concept in the Colombian context as it seeks to uphold a large part of its national interests, since promoting projects that are sustainable, and therefore, more environmentally friendly, should be one of its foci of interest. In this order, the importance of water as a natural resource that ensures an adequate standard of living, especially because it is one of the basic conditions for survival, as well as the threats that exist around their use and / or consumption is highlighted. In this research, the deductive methodology is used to achieve the objectives and answer the problem question. In addition, by means of an initial search of bibliographic sources analysed in a qualitative and quantitative way; it is intended you suggest proposals for environmental character for application to the specific case of the protection of natural resources, mainly water, so that the Sustainable Development Goals related to this public good are satisfactorily achieved
