Análisis cinético de la adsorción de Cr (VI) en soluciones acuosas a concentraciones de 10-20 mg/L con el uso de cáscara de yuca amarga (Manihot esculenta)

Este documento muestra el estudio cinético realizado sobre la sorción de cromo hexavalente Cr (VI) en soluciones acuosas para un rango de concentraciones iníciales entre 10-20 mg/L utilizando cáscara de yuca amarga (Manihot esculenta) como material adsorbente. Para ello, se realizaron pruebas experimentales que permitieron identificar la cantidad de Cr (VI) adsorbida por el material lignocelulósico en intervalos de tiempo definidos. Se desarrolló el estudio cinético para entender el mecanismo del proceso de adsorción y la cinética de la velocidad de adsorción de Cr(VI) y el
modelo que mejor se ajustó fue el modelo cinético de pseudo segundo orden.
