Este articulo buscar brindar solución a los problemas derivados con el control de inventarios de un hospital
de la ciudad de Barraquilla, Colombia. Las herramientas sugeridas están contextualizadas en las necesidades
de los hospitales y en los recursos disponibles para la gestión de inventarios en la organización. En el análisis se
parametriza y evalúa una política tradicional de inventario (s,Q) para minimizar el nivel de agotados y días de
inventario, permitiendo la disminución de los costos asociados al exceso de inventario y manejo ineficiente de
los mismos.
