Net zero consumption has become an important issue of sustainability management and the fight against climate change. Its aim is to balance greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with their absorption or removal in the atmosphere. Although initiatives have been developed with guidelines for implementing Net Zero in organizations, there is a lack of research on methodologies for implementing emission reduction policies supported by quality tools. Therefore, this article develops a methodology for implementing Net Zero in a supply chain by integrating the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and the Hoshin Kanri (HK) matrix. The methodology has four steps: (1) formulate the Net Zero policy, (2) Build the strategic map using the BSC, (3) Set the objectives and key results, and (4) Define the monitoring and control plan using the HK matrix. The application of the methodology in an automotive parts assembly supply chain allowed the implementation of the Net Zero policy with a focus on concrete operational results in the different links of the supply chain studied.
