Caracterización petrofísica y mecánica de los paquetes litológicos a partir del análisis de registros geofísicos y pozos corazonados, Cerrejón (Colombia)

El objetivo de esta investigación es caracterizar petrofísica y mecánicamente los paquetes litológicos a partir del análisis de registros geofísicos y pozos corazonados, Cerrejón (Colombia). La metodología empleada cuenta con varias fases, primero con una revisión del estado del arte en bases de datos académicas y científicas. Posteriormente, fases de campo para toma de registros de tres (3) pozos corridos en formato LAS (profundidades estimadas, ubicación y parámetros o datos en el encabezado de los registros originales), toma de doce (12) muestras a corazonadas (núcleos) y características generales. Además, se realizaron análisis de porosidad, humedad, densidad, elasticidad y compresión a partir de la resistencia a compresión simple y su efecto en las voladuras, función de la dureza y velocidad sísmica. Concluyéndose que, los paquetes litológicos de la formación clasificados como areniscas de grano fino-medio a lodosas con intercalaciones plana paralelas a ondulosas (D1, D7, D9 y D11) y lodolitas de grano fino a arenosas con alta cantidad de materia carbonosa (D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D8 y D10), presentan densidades promedio de 2,40 g/cm3.
