Ten strains with hydrocarbonoclastic capacity conserved in the Strain Bank of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in the Campos Elíseos Experimental Complex of the Francisco de Paula Santander University, corresponding to the genera of fungi (Penicillium sp., Rhizopus sp. ., Paecilomyces sp., and Aspergillus sp.), isolated from soil samples from bioremediated oil residues at the company Aseo Urbano S.A.S. E.S.P.Molecular identification, a process of genomic DNA extraction and amplification by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of the ITS region was carried out.
The obtained amplicons were sequenced and submitted to a BLASTn (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) analysis in the NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) GenBank database, finding standardized DNA sequence records to establish the genus and species, obtaining as a result, identifications with percentages between 98% and 100%; Where two fungi obtained 100% identity in their length with ITS sequences belonging to the species, Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus niger. The other identified sequences corresponded to: Aspergillus tamarii, Lichtheimia ramosa, Paecilomyces formosus, Penicillium citrinum, Penicillium oxalicum and Geotrichum candidum.
