Abstract
This article analyzes how art and digital communication can strengthen trust between the Colombian police and the community. Using a mixed-methods approach—predominantly qualitative—based on a review of documents and a survey of 101 people, the study identifies that, despite mostly positive perceptions, challenges persist in trust, communication, and transparency. Art emerges as a means to generate empathy and dialogue, while digital communication facilitates citizen participation and brings institutions closer to the public. Together, these resources contribute to improving the police-citizen relationship and promoting peacebuilding through artistic interventions and systematically integrated digital platforms.
Keywords: art, digital communication, digital humanity, community, trust, police.
